I have eaten at more than a few Shake Shacks, and this one stands out for service, food and general chill factor. Food and the shake, gotta have the shake, were quick, hot and prepared perfectly. She had the black truffle burger, she devoured it. I had the shroom burger and it was delicious. Both hot and not over done. We had the cookies and cream shake -- amazing and the way a shake should be made. Cold think and creamy. Secret there are tables downstairs with loads of room and your own exit. Stopped by on a Friday evening and was surprised at how empty it was compared to other locations. They have plenty of seating (2 floors!) and it was easy to order at a kiosk, grab a number, find a seat, and wait for your order to come to you! I had to wait quite a bit considering how empty the place was, but the food was solid and the service was good.

Got takeout here on a rainy weekday evening and the place had a decent amount of food traffic - the space is quite large, however I didn't see a lot of people sitting down and eating. I would wager the spot is probably busier and livelier on a weekend - weekday dinners are probably a takeout for most patrons. Food came out decently quick. They have self serve kiosks to order or you can also go up to the cashier if you'd like. The food itself was fine - exactly what you'd expect from Shake Shack. I find it expensive for what it is, but the standard for the chain is here so it tasted similar to every other Shake Shack I've been to. Overall, this location on Newbury met expectations - decent food and quick service. If you're looking for some fast food, Shake Shack on Newbury will give you what you need!

Brief Summary: - Located in Newbury - Ordering can be done by the staff or the kiosk - Indoor and outdoor seating Newbury has some shops, but it's a little harder to find food places, but splat in the center of Newbury, there was Shake Shack. We went there to get a little snack and replenish our walking energy. Generally liked how the building exterior is so pretty, its matching blocks of brick buildings. We entered inside and to the kiosk to make an order. Since we were looking for a snack, we only ordered fries and chicken bites. When we took a seat and was reaching for a napkin, the staff came by and served us the tray of our food. It was super fast. (There was another branch I went to, where it took a long time for our order to arrive...) The fries are airy and crisp on the outside and soft in piping hot in the inside. The chicken bites are petite but they were juicy. The generous part was that I ordered six pieces, but there were some extra portions.

This is by far one of the best Shake Shack's I have ever been to. The interior is extremely clean, the food is excellent, and the service is quick. Bathroom is very clean as well. There is more than enough seating among two floors of the restaurant. Cheese fries are always a must! Definitely the best Shake Shack in Boston!
